Getting to do yoga at Prana Yoga studio is the highlight of my week. I have been unfit for a while but Roopas' patience and the modifications she provides for each pose enables even a novice like me to attempt every pose. She is extremely patient and very knowledgeable. I enjoy the fact that I get a COMPLETE yoga practice here - from asanas, to mudras to pranayama - each aspect is covered thoroughly and I end up learning so much. Her studio is welcoming and relaxing - the perfect place to practice yoga. Getting up to attend a 6 am class is not a chore when you have Roopa as a teacher 🙂

As a beginner yogi I was nervous about starting lessons, after the first session these nerves had disappeared. Through Roopa's classes I have developed a calmed mind despite living a very busy lifestyle. Roopa is a very flexible teacher (no pun intended) and caters for the needs of all of her students. If you are looking for a local yoga class , give Prana Yoga a try. Roopa has a welcoming and calm approach to her classes, she caters for the beginner as well as advanced yoga students. I have been attending her classes twice a week since the beginning of the year. I love her explanations about what part of the body we are working on , she makes it easy to get into each pose so you get the maximum benefit out of each class. As well as working on our bodies, the mindfulness aspect of the class has made me feel so much better physically and mentally. I would highly recommend giving this class a try.
